What makes these better than the free Telenav Sprint already offers?

Re: Any nav software that works?

I use GarminXT (running from a 16 gig sandisk card), CoPilot Live 7, Google Navigator etc etc on my sprint touch pro activated on verizon service & they work perfectly.

I had an 11 satellite lock this morning in HTC GPS tool, I did the aGPS tweaks.

For most of the people here with old Sprint SERO, that is not free.

If you don't have network access telenav will not work. If you use igo or tomtom/garmin etc where the maps are on card your nav will work without service.

Re: Any nav software that works?

Pm me your email. I am assuming you have all the maps. I will not be discussing those in any way. You will also need a sys.txt file that has been modified. I have it on my phone and will get if from there. The sys.txt will go on storage card under igo8 and replace the other, and also on the phone itself under program files/igo8.

If you try one, you will know. SprintNav is sub par even if it allowed maps to be loaded on the devise.

Re: Any nav software that works?

Ya I have to agree about the sprint nav. It sucks compared to the others out there. I have been running Garmin Mobile XT for a while now and I really like it.
