SMS Glitch

Whenever I open up a sms msg and then try to either open or close the slider and start to reply the contacts screen pops up. It will go away after a few seconds but I have to wait to start typing otherwise its like trying to search for a contact. Using a Sprint TP on Verizon.

I did a soft reset and that seemed to help I cant get it to do the same thing again.

It has come back. I think its due to the custom 1x, battery, and evdo icons.

that happens to me pretty often. what i do is if i know my response is going to be a very small. like yes/no or ok. i use the onscreen keyboard. just makes my life a little easier.

hmm i dont have that problem.

its been posted a few times. as far as i can figure, its just the way that TF3d changes screens when you slide open the keyboard. if you notice, when in landscape mode, typing on the hw keyboard will start dialing/smart dialing. Also, if you are viewing an SMS in the tf3d preview tab and you slide open the keyboard, it just gives you the default landscape screen.

My solution has been to either tap to open the message, or hit reply in the menu and wait to see a cursor in the actual message window before I open the keyboard. Takes an extra 2 seconds, but works flawlessly at that point.

nah, i get the same thing and i dont have the custom icons

I do not have this problem using JD's newest ROM that he released last night.
