I haven't tried it yet, but almost everyone speaks very highly of it and it sounds like its lets people restore all their data and do hard resets without fear.

A hard reset will erase everything you've stored on the phone since its first boot. The only information it saves are the ones in EPST, such as your activation and data login settings.
