Ah that's what I figured, and the one I'm trying. It plays the videos okay, but it's a bit glitchy around the edges, and the interface downright sucks. Especially browsing for files.

It does not. Most DivX files are encoded at SD/HD resolution for TV viewing, so they tend to be too CPU-intensive to play well on WinMo devices.
We recommend transcoding DivX files with tools like Kinoma Producer or HandBrake (which now supports file-based sources) for best results on mobile. Quote:

I use CorePlayer to watch my videos. 640x480 XviDs work perfectly fine on it.
The divx player worked really poorly for me. Most videos would just stop playing under a minute for no reason, sometimes a few seconds. Performance seemed worse than CorePlayer too. |
