I'll sign the petition, on condition that Seidio adds in a thin layer of copper or aluminum to help with the heat issue.

Although i'd rather have the sprint back than original, I'll sign cause it's a worthy cause for those wanting the original. Sprint won me over with their modifications! It should have been sold as an accessory at launch for those wanting it though. Companies like seidio will eventually make it. I just hope I don't hear complaints saying it's a fingerprint magnet when they finally do release it. People getting the fuze are complaining that they didn't get a matte finish because of this. We all want what we can't have it appears. Goodluck.

I agree. I mean sure, I'd like the diamond style back to, but a petition? Come on. Personally I'd be more ap to petition for a back that doesn't creek. But anyway, just my 2 cents.

I think there are MUCH more important things than a battery cover. sure it's a poorly designed peice of plastic junk that will scratch up instantly and make your camera unusable with the raised "lens cover" but there are much more important things, like actually having a battery that lasts more than an hour, and a radio that doesn't burn your hand on a 20 minute phone call, doncha think???

I understand where you guys are coming from when you say just be happy, but I'm not happy.

If you notice, my wording is very encouraging. I acknowledge how great the device is. I'm just asking that they make a certain accessory AVAILABLE to us. I want them to realize that we are interested in the cover if they were doubting whether or not to make it.
