Re: Text Messages - Will Not Vibrate
Do you have the phone set to silent? This disables all vibrate and ring. You can check by pressing the volume up or down key. Check both System and Phone tab. That's the only explanation I can think of.

Re: Text Messages - Will Not Vibrate
the phone is set to loudest settings, and the vibrate does occur for other things, for instance, when making a call.

Re: Text Messages - Will Not Vibrate
Just curious... Did you set text messages to vibrate via Start>Settings>Sounds & Notifications>Advanced?
If not, do that. Check the 'vibrate' box.

Another question...when you adjust the volume down to "vibrate", does then phone vibrate? |

Re: Text Messages - Will Not Vibrate
I was just thinking... if that doesn't work, maybe the vibrator [lol] is damaged or disconnected... If a hard reset or reflash doesn't fix it, take it back to Sprint. You should have no problem getting a replacement

Re: Text Messages - Will Not Vibrate
the vibrator is not damaged, it works for phone call alerts. (BTW is there a way to make it start vibrating as soon as it receives the call instead of 3 seconds after?)
ive tried to check and uncheck the vibrate box but it is still not working. the only cabs ive installed are the original clock, internet sharing fix, and volume booster. |
