Alltel folks lucked out and got the same one as Sprint rather than the Verizon version. But Alltel usually gets the same version as Sprint, right?

I wonder if the back battery cover is Black or same as Sprint.

BTW, the chrome is vacuum metallized plastic. It's basically a chrome plating on plastic. Same as every cheap toy you see. While is makes the plastic harder and less prone to scratching, it also makes it more brittle. I can see quite a few weak spots where cracks would happen with a very small drop easily.
