Re: Bluetooth Troubles
I have never had ringtones transmitted to mine on any phone (a Samsung WEP200), just the generic beep-beep sound when a call comes in. Is that a feature of yours in particular or is the TP somehow supposed to do that with all headsets?
My BT "problem" is how my headset and the A2DP music device I use coexist, if anyone has insight on that. Last edited by Nagual; 11-15-2008 at 06:38 PM. |

Actually, maybe this is what you mean:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...=call+announce A whole other long thread on that topic. Mine has never worked right. |

Re: Bluetooth Troubles
I have had the notifications go through my headset. The odd part about this is that if you mess with the voice notifications it will transmit the ringtone as well as the voice notification and it sounds all distorted. I have tried doing a soft reset and then disabling voice notification and the connection does not always send my ringtone to the phone.. Its like the radio shuts down and doesnt allow the transmissions anymore.

This is exactly what I mean. Wow, I didnt think it was that big of a deal. guess it is a flaw. Does anyone know how to correct the volume issue from this temp fix in the above thread? |

Re: Bluetooth Troubles
Well, thanks to your suggestions I now do hear the ringtone through the headset but unfortunately still no voice announcement. But the other thread I post a link to up there probably has a lot more info about how people are working on that issue. Or maybe Sprint/HTC will actually offer a fix with future updates.
