Anyone having issues with the directional pad?

The circular directional pad at the bottom of the phone?

Mine works fine in the down direction and the push. When I press up it often times accepts it as a push. Left and right do not function as a left or right but also as a push. Is this normal?

Re: Anyone having issues with the directional pad?

the dpad on the touch pro is definitely strange, but i've gotten used to it already. try hitting the directions just outside the circle of the dpad rather than on the edge of it.

Re: Anyone having issues with the directional pad?

Thanks. I actually looked a lot closer at this thing and figured that out simply out of luck just a few minutes ago. I thought the circle itself was the directional pad but like you said, the buttons are outside the circle. Confusing to say the least! But thanks for the info.

Re: Anyone having issues with the directional pad?

I notice a couple of the variants have arrow markers where the buttons are actually at to help guide users... too bad Sprint didn't bother to do include them, lol.

Re: Anyone having issues with the directional pad?

I really think this DPad is obnoxious...

I wish I had programming skills so I could design an app that would just go based off the capacitive touch instead of a button press.
