Well everyone, it's been a great ride, and I had hoped that we would see a ROM update for the Sprint Touch Pro that would have allowed/compelled me to release an updated version of this utility.

However, no update has come, and despite the now hundreds of posts here, the solution is very stable and well documented, custom ROM solutions exist by the truckload, and well... since I've now upgraded to the Touch Pro 2, it's time for me to turn my efforts there.

I hope that this continues to be a positive tool and resource for Touch Pro users, however, I will be requesting the thread be locked or maintained by other TP users. If your answers don't appear in the initial posts, definitely take some time to search through the comments.

well thanks, and I will keep an eye out for your tweak package for the tp2 and store it on my card for the inevitable migration, but i'm by no means in a hurry for a new device.

Do the packages you posted on the first page of this thread include the video driver now? I noticed you were going to look into incorporating them, but didn't see where you announced you'd rolled them in. Just curious as to whether I'll have to add that after using your packages. If I missed it, I apologize for the question. (There are NO stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots!)

And you have FAR more patience than I do- the last few pages must have driven you nuts with the questions you'd answered 30+ times! Thanks for your efforts.

They don't, although, I have a pretty boring weekend planned, so I'll post a version that does! Can you post a link to the latest version in use?

Well, GT2L, the laws of irony state that soon after you announced development was stopping on this Sprint would FINALLY update the official ROM - and at last they have:

I swiched from Sprint to Metropcs and my Touch Pro is working 100% in Metro, but my today screen still shows Sprint and I will like to remove and Metropcs to show in the today screen. I modify the register but it allways goes back to Sprint. Can you help me with this issue. Thank you

Does anyone know if the tweaks will still work and be applicable on the new Sprint ROM that was released on Sept 25 on the HTC site?

I cant speak for touchflo, but otherwise it does the same as it did before. there are new programs however in the new rom that the cleanup is unaware of.

so basically it's still a good starting point.
