Hey GoodThings2Life, I really like what you did in your cleanup... everything except re-arrangement of the shortcuts in the start menu. Can you post up a cab file with all the cleanups without the "1. All shortcuts re-arranged for better organization (See important note and screenshot below)". Because I'm really used to the look since WM5. Let me know if that's possible. Thanks.

That's by design... as indicated in the original post (at least once or twice, maybe more)...

I apologize if this sounds cranky, but I'm freezing my butt off this morning, and I could swear that you just asked me for something I posted a long time ago... does "tweaks only" ring a bell? Maybe re-read the initial post over again... ;)

Everyone, I think I found something really important out about G2TL's brilliant package.

If you have any other battery tweaks done or cabs installed, REVERSE THEM.

If you have a new or hard reset-ted TP, don't do any other battery tweaks after G2TL's.

Or at least use the device for a while before you do to see whether you're happy with the battery life or not.

I'm astonished at how much better my battery life seems after getting rid of a second battery tweak I put on after G2TL's cleanup. I can't guarantee other people will have the same result but it's a pretty clear difference for me--I've web surfed, used YouTube, texted and done a bunch of stuff and it seems like my juice is running down a lot slower. I'll have to leave it this way for a long while and report if this good behavior continues but give the cleanup package settings for your battery a shot by themselves for a while and see if it makes a difference to you.

Props to you GT2L. I love the cab file and have been using it for the past several months, since you posted it. I know I am missing something, but can't figure it out. Is there an easy way to toggle bt on and off? Going into the comm manager and selecting it is tedious for my big fingers!

Rock on!

You must have gargantuan fingers my friend...

....because to me that seems like a nice fast and easy way to get it done, much more than my previous phone the Samsung A920 which buried it under several layers of menus.

And the wild thing is that is part of the TPs original design in TF3D--only GT2L's package puts it on the Start Menu! :D

Oh not at all. So that's what it is, I thought the tweaks only cab excludes everything you've done under the "Start Menu Configuration Changes". Because I wanted to remove all that sprint stuff without touching the start menu's order. My mistake.

I must be missing something, which is entirely possible by the way, but I have no link to bt on the start menu. I have to navigate to the comm manager and select the bt setting. The easiest way I have found to get to the comm manager from the home screen is to tap the EVDO icon on the title bar, but this is hit or miss as the item to touch to bring up the comm manager is tiny. What am I missing here? Is there an easier way?

I installed the full version of the cleanup. Comm Manager is available on the Start Menu.

So I tap Start

then Comm Manager

Bluetooth Switch (it's a TF3D menu with data connection, airplane mode, wi-fi and so forth. One of them is Bluetooth on/off).

3 relatively quick steps in my opinion.

There's also always the slide keyboard out, press FN and then back arrow key method. (If you can remember to do that.)
