I searched but nothing came back. Does this play well with Daimond Tweak and Advanced Config AFTER running the clean?

You probably missed a step while installing... sounds like you didn't shut off TouchFLO3D before you did.

Compatbile? Yes. Recommended? No... Diamond Tweak is an absolutely abysmal piece of software on CDMA (Sprint, Alltel, Verizon) versions since it is geared more for GSM (AT&T, T-Mobile, others) versions. It also has a number of tweaks that just cause really unstable results. If you have a Fuze, by all means enjoy. But use caution when using it or Advanced Config.

I tried to contact the author of Diamond Tweak about making changes and I know he's willing to if he gets enough good feedback. I really wish there was a CDMA version of Diamond Tweak because, yeah, the last time I installed it, a week ago, it caused me to lose a few calls because I couldn't answer even after pushing the answer button several times.

That said, however, the first time I installed Diamond Tweak and Tour Pro Cleanup together, I didn't have that or other problems like that. It worked fine. I don't know what the right combo is but it might be the order in which both cabs are installed. Maybe it's better if Diamond Tweak is first and then Touch Pro Cleanup. However, I don't know why that would matter anyway.

I briefly tried Advanced Config as well and also didn't get good results. Too buggy. I dunno, I'd love it if there was an all in one app for the TP that covered what all these cabs were fixing or implementing, knowing it wouldn't make my phone buggy.

The main features I like about Diamond Tweak, for instance, is how there's a huge list of tweaks with recommended and defaulted settings! I love TP Cleanup too b/c it's no hassle and easy, but if there was a way to combine these efforts somehow for the TP, that would make this phone even better for me.

Until then...

Thanks! :) When I post the "tweaks only" version, it will be more custom-ROM friendly.

On the clock you changed it to hh:mm:ss did you do that in the registry? its so annoying to see 01:00 I reset it in regional and it keeps going back.
Other than that nice work. What do you think about using advanced config after installing this?

I have had issues with the DiamondTweak app but nothing dramatic but I did not try after installing your app. I'm just interested in a bunch of tweaks it can do that your app hasnt done like the camera tweaks cache's etc

It's not about order. It's about selections in those programs. Both of them are geared for GSM phones, and they make changes (and sometimes on their own) that adjust the dialer and data connections. This has been the case for ages, and I'm sorry but despite their claims to fix it, they have never done so. It's been like this since the Mogul's release too. Not trying to bash their efforts-- I think they're great on GSM phones-- but users of CDMA devices need to know what they're getting into.

Hmm, I thought I had taken that particular adjustment out, but maybe not. Even if I left it in, changing it in regional settings should stick unless you have another tweak affecting it too. I'll look into that today since I've got some time to work on a few more improvements too.

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)

In the interest of not creating too many new threads, I searched "usb to pc" and this is the only thread that comes up.

My problem is - I have checked "Ask about connection type when I connect" - and it DOES ask, but it ignores me and always starts with whatever is already selected (the last one I used). I'm pressing my selection as soon as that window opens - but it seems the PC is faster and just connects as the last connection. I can't believe my reaction time is THAT slow! (although, I AM getting older and am not discounting the possibility :))

Any suggestions?

Thanks GoodThings2Life. I installed the Tweaks only version and now I need to due some due diligence to figure out exactly what the tweaks did so that I can enhance my performance of using the Touch Pro. At this point I've installed PM Backup and the Tweaks only version. I'd like to additional modifications. Does it matter which order I do them in? I saw your other tutorial, which seems like a tremendous help. Should my next install be a registry editor. Also, if I'm reading correctly you are telling us not to use the Advanced Config. if we have installed your tweaks only version b/c Advanced Config. was really meant for GSM phones.

Hmm, I have no idea what would cause that. The question I have is what tweaks and programs have you installed and used that might affect USB? You will have better answers starting a new thread though.

No, I'm encouraging to avoid those two programs completely whether you use my tweaks or not... they are NOT suitable for CDMA phones. :)

My Tweaks Only package can be installed any time, but if you have other tweaks to do, you should do them afterward to avoid conflicts. The full cleanup package is intended for "clean" or relatively clean setups.

What issues have you ran into with these two apps? I have used both at the sametime as well and I've yet to notice anything other than settings I adjust? I also did a search and have not come up with anything.
If you goto DiamondTweaks page it actually tells you its compatible with the TouchPro and not sure if anyone else knows this but there is an addon pack for Advanced config by Boe6? that is specifically setup for TouchPros?
