Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
Wanted to say thanks for this great cab. I unlocked my phone but lost the balls to go farther at this time...maybe later. I've had the phone for a few weeks and I had to do the silent and painful search in the forums to address the learning curve. I've got a handle on it, but a long way to go before I really start screwing this thing up...can't wait actually. But until then, your cab offered me a lazy way to address some annoying features that would have otherwise forced me to hold off until I learned more. Lazy? yes, but with counseling I come to forgive myself.
In my readings I've noticed that people experience a great deal of glitches tweaking the phone. The one thing I've discovered is that most of these problems can be fixed by simply installing the cab again, or discovering the right order to install multiple cabs. Only once now have I come across a glitch that was produced several times forcing me to find another way. I've had this phone so screwed up that the clock had three different fonts, sizes and colors and informed me that the time was 0:00. This cab works with the transparent flip clock, transparent custom curtains and background on every page tweaks. But I had to reinstall a few of the afore mentioned cabs several times and in specific orders to get it right. I kept notes of what I did and when and what cabs I had used, and of course I hit the forums like I was cramming for a test. I say all this because I read where some people had had problems with the items I listed above. I know some are using different phones, providers, roms, etc...but aside from that I'm telling you that multiple installations on top of installations seems to beat the tweak into the phone. heh Good luck and thanks again Goodthings, great great cab! Anyway, the problem is that my instructions clearly state that it ONLY modifies relatively clean Manila themes, so if you want the flip clocks back, disable TF3D and reinstall the Flipclock package you want.

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
Regardless of what I tried the clock was messed up. I eventually went back to the Sprint clock and then placed the efglassclock files directly into my windows' folder. Everything works great now.
Thanks so much for the cab, it definitely improves the user experience. |

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
I'm have trouble with the Transparent slider bar.
I was trying to do the 15 tab tweak I found on XDA, and the TF3D wasn't working at all... it wouldn't load. So I installed the Sprint Cleanup with Light audio and Large icons to get the TF3D working. I delete all those shortcuts in the start menu and reapplied some of the tweaks I had. Then I noticed the Transparent bar was only showing on some tabs and other it wasn't transparent at all. Its annoying the hell out of me. I copied the Manilla file again for the transparent slider, and again nothing. Anyone has a idea of whats going?

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
You really need to be asking the creators of the transparent bar hacks... many of them simply aren't stable or have multiple dependencies that you may have missed, which is why I don't bother including them as options in the packages I make.
Sorry for not being able to provide any counsel on it... I just prefer to focus on things that improve performance and stability. |

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
Just wanted to send a quick thanks. I finally installed the cleanup this afternoon and it has worked slick! To all of those waiting because they are worried about installing this, my experience has been great. I do recommend cleanup with large text for those of you who do not want to take out the stylus as much. I installed both and that is my preference. I was also stoked that forced roam was programed in the package. I was reading up on making that change tonight and I thought I would check to see if it had already been programmed in, and presto it was! Thanks again!=D>

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
I am very new to windows mobile based phones (this is my first one). GoodThingslife, great cleanup, TF is extremely sensitive now (my iphone crazy freinds are reconsidering their love!). I had a question regarding the bluetooth though. When I got the phone out of the box, the volume was too low; however with my plantronics 925, it sounded great. I installed the clean up with loud audiopara first. But it was too loud for me. Then I installed only the light audiopara cab. The phone volume and sound quality is perfect. However, when I use the plantronics with it, people on the other end complain that my voice quality is really poor (sounds like a old loudspeaker ). I have been using the same bluetooth with my previous phone and it has been great. Would you or anybod know of any fix?
thanks, |

Re: Touch Pro Cleanup (Sprint Edition)
Unfortunately, I didn't make the audiopara hack, so I'm not much help to you on this one. You might want to search/read through this thread...
