GoodThings2Life: I think you install "File Explorer" twice in that cleanup.

I spent HOURS messing around with getting Obex to work again, including enabling beams, and it never worked until I uninstalled your CAB, and softreset. Then everything was fine again.

Do you have any ideas what might have gone wrong? I was looking forward to using it. :/

Hmm. I'll look into it. If you don't mind, send me a PM with some steps you were taking to test it out to see if Ican reproduce it.

First off... THANK YOU for all of your work!.... Your tweaks are great. I have a question though. Would it be possible for you to make a version of the clean up that does not alter the AudioPara file? I have a Touch Pro with a Build Date of 11/01/08 and a have a little bit of the blown speaker sound. I am not sure if it's the AudioPara (I used Light with Large Menu) or that I have a defective phone. I see other people talking about the same issue but before I return the phone I wanted to see if the original AudioPara would be any better.

I have re-posted all the cabs with the corrected Obex settings.

Sorry about that. HTC changed the Beams setting to an HKEY_CURRENT_USER setting, but Windows Mobile still expects the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE setting for true Obex. I was changing both improperly but it's fixed now.

The Tweaks Only version does not include the AudioPara but doesn't include the start menu cleanup either. I could email you a full cleanup without it if you want. If you want just the original audiopara file for testing, check this thread...

My phone works great now, thanks! Although, I did notice a longer lag time after the phone first boots up until everything is running smooth. Either way, fantastic!

Man, this is such a great thread. Only thing is, I've installed so many cabs and programs just to get my phone where it is now, but the one that I like is your highlight color change (especially the blue you chose)...only thing is it only works with the Sprint Theme. Oh well, guess I'll stick with what I've got, but if there's a way to make that work, I'm all for it.

I wanted to install the "Tweaks" cab, but don't want that to mess with TouchFlo Configurator settings I have on now.

If I'm safe installing any of this, please let me know because this is all great stuff.

i read thru this whole thread...the probs that sum were having made me not wanna install this...but i figured it was just noobs makin noob mistakes haha...i was pretty much right...i installed the app (tweaks only) and i have to say it works great...slight lag but i can make sum adjustments on my end to correct this im sure...so far so good...if i run into any probs ill be sure to post...but i must say great app...thanks for this...

Where can I find the original Sprint Manilla files that the color change cab modified? I would like to go back to the yellow theme. I think I perfer the yellow circle bubble over the red and the Comm Manager is really hard to see what is on or off with out the yellow.

You're welcome!!

If you want the larger start menu icons... download the right package and replace the one you got, but don't bother installing or hard resetting! Just go to Start > Settings > System > TouchFLO, and enable the option for Large Icons in Start Menu.

No, it doesn't. Turn ON your location setting in Start > Settings > Phone > Services > Location Setting.

I'm not sure how/why this is off by default for some phones, but at least it's an easy enough fix.

You can find the original Sprint files in the Customize Your Manila / TouchFLO3D Theme" linked in my signature.

I believe they're in post 3 or 4.
