Re: Do you have GPS lag on your Touch Pro?

I have been using the trial Sprint Nav with no lag whatsoever just like the Mogul. I am waiting on Mapquest to release a compatible version for the Pro on the 24th, that is my main Gps..

Re: Do you have GPS lag on your Touch Pro?

I think tom tom 7 is only on unlocked touch diamonds/pro roms. People are installing it from those roms to their sprint touch pros/diamonds. That is what I did and tt7 is nice and working fine for me. I don't think I have any lag but haven't used it much at all.

Re: Do you have GPS lag on your Touch Pro?

a bit off topic..
I know that Sprint wants us to pay extra or part of a big plan to use GPS features. Is this really necessary or can it be enabled without their special package. It seems like it would be a phone specific thing and not something Sprint should be charging extra for.

They dont charge you for GPS access they charge you to use their app called Telenav. You can use your own apps for GPS, like google maps or tom tom for example.
