Email freezing

Anyone having troubles with the email "freezing" if you have it set to auto check? My wife has her Pro set to check her Gmail every hour and every couple of days she will try to open her inbox or open a message and it will just sit there and not do anything. A soft reset fixes it but that seems extreme. As a test I did the same thing with my Diamond, but to an email other than gmail and I let it run overnight. The next morning mine was doing it too. I've since changed it back to manual and have no issues. Anyone else seeing this?
