Or Disable your Bluetooth. They WiFi and Bluetooth use the same radio.

you sure, I am able to have both "wifi and bluetooth" on at the same time, I know if you do have activesync connected to a pc and it is active, it will darken the "wifi" selection.

i had the same problem earlier after installing a few cabs.
trying doing a soft reset....it worked for me.

I'm wrong on that one, I read that over at XDA, must apply only to the GSM units.

its probably from ActiveSync. I think by default active sync disables wifi or something.
