How to put movies or tv shows on pro without active sync??

ok i have the htc touch pro also with sprint how and what can i do to add movies to my phone not able to sync what other ways can i do when i drag & drop into my storage card it wont play in my media player but i have tried different ways and the other way is that it will play the sound but not the visual. Thanks for any info that is given.

What formats are they in?

If you are having trouble, reencode your videos to 640x480 in .avi, .wmv, or .mpg format.

the type of file is a video clip. when i sync my phone everything is perfect til it gets to the window media and it ask me to set up but will never go threw and my media player does not see it.

you have to be more specific, is it an avi, mpg, mp4, etc also what codec is the file using...

also you will save yourself lots of time if you just load your large media files with a card reader, vs active sync

A card reader is always fastest for adding large amounts of movies/shows. Only time I would say 'sync is worth it is for WMP and music so it converts the cover-art to proper format as it copies.

i have used a card reader but when i do it only plays the sound not video.the audio format is a mpeg layer-3. is there a certain folder that i need to create to make it work???

thanks worked like a charm it does lag a little bit. is there anyway to resolve the lag that i'm having ???
