Re: CDMA Zagg Invisible Shield available!

Any word on the coverage of the purely "screen" protector? I wonder if it covers the full front face of the phone or not..

Re: CDMA Zagg Invisible Shield available!

invisible shield is the best protector hands down. yes, its annoying to apply, but you will not have a better protected product. ive used them on other cell phones, ipods, ds, psp. i cant stand cases, or belt clips. lifetime warranty if you purchase from the website. and ive only had to cash in on the warranty once. i did a bad install on my treo 800w. 25 bucks was hard to cough up for my first shield on my ipod. but after i put it on, i never regretted it. put one on the wifes ipod too. well worth it.

Re: CDMA Zagg Invisible Shield available!

i love these, but they are so frustrating and hard to put on. its not easy getting it perfectly straight let alone doing it without any fingerprints on the device and/or dust.

Just got to have a steady hand.

Turn on the hot shower and let steam accumulate in the room for around 10 minutes, that way all the dust/hair is weighed down.

Re: CDMA Zagg Invisible Shield available!

i ordered a similar product on ebay from pinkstatic.com. its pretty decent, but all of the chrome on the front of the phone is unprotected. the side chrome is around 95% protected. is zagg and the others the same or do they cover the front chrome all the way?

If you're worried about scratching the chrome - it might be worth the inconvenience.

At least for now, I'll hold off on installing the shield over the chrome - but I'll have it if I need it.
I'm not sure which protrusions you're talking about, but I just applied my shield and I'm not noticing anything like what you're describing. The only problem is with the D-pad having a few minor bubbles where it starts to ramp up from the rest of the phone. Other than that, it went on fine.

The only complaint I have about this is that while it covers the vast majority of the chrome, it does not cover the front-facing chrome (the chrome directly above the earpiece and the chrome directly below the D-pad). I'm thinking of buying some stock protector and making it myself. I'll just have to borrow some micro calipers from work. Hehehe...

Re: CDMA Zagg Invisible Shield available!

Does anyone know if the invisible shield can be removed once it's been applied? And if so, can it be done without damage to the phone/leftover residue/etc?

I've had the phone for less than a month and there are already 2 small chips in the chrome. But I really like the chrome, and I'm worried that it won't look good after I apply the shield. I want to know that I can remove it without consequence if I decide that I don't like how it looks.
