SPB backups your whole system, PIM only backs up contacts/SMS/emails etc.

If you do a hard reset, SPB can restore your system & all its programs/tweaks/custom settings to the state it was in before the reset.

What about if I choose the option to "not end currently running processes"? What difference does it make?

Does it work where it stores and enters your password in your device for you so that you do not have to type it in after a restart?
When creating your backup, uncheck the box to stop current processes before backup.

Re: SPB Backup?

Orlando, it is a no brainer, SPB is the deal . They both have the same features basically as far as scheduling automatic backups and file mgr that allows to manipulate the back up file on the pc.... However Spb does a much better and cleaner back ups. I used both and Sprite definitely can do the job abd be a life saver...lol. But since you do have the option of choosing, my professional recommendation ,waow yeah, will be Spb. Also, keep in mind that both have free trials so you can test drive them first.

Forgot to mention that Spb is faster as well,. meaning you will get your TP back quickly after a restore.
