Wow "Come and Get your Love, Sprint"...HTC advertises the phone before its out Not just on a template page...but a live page????? And that page Sends you to the competition if you are interested in the phone...NICE....Um word to HTC and Alltel...I love early leaks and anticipation but don't link to the competition while you are live.

I know its OFF TOPIC but anybody here using alltel's PUSH email (Office sync personal/consumer)...if so have you gotten any pushes...or do you have to hit send and receive like me...I talked to them after 2hrs on hold and got some excuse that they couldnt help me until they fixed some problem that happened yesterday, i then told her that its been this way for more than 24hrs like 10-13 days and she said that is a problem they need to solve after the existing new problem...It was almost SNLish the whole convo

Well, I called a tech today. After about a 30 minute conversation of exchanging HTC chit chat, he wrote my number down, and said he'd call on the first sign of any information about the Touch Pro. (Showed him the pic on the HTC site) He just now called me back, and has reported that the Touch Pro is due to be released on Nov. 22nd. And he also said that the tech also mentioned something about the HTC HD (HTC Touch HD) to be released maybe before Christmas. Take it as you read it, but I sure hope he's right!!!

Well yesterday I talked to a sales person at Alltel and he told me that he has seen the upcoming holiday add flyer and the Touch Pro is on it. I guess that is a confirmation that the Touch Pro will be out before x-mass. =D>

OK everyone, I just got a PM from w0rdie and he just informed me that the Pro goes on sale in six days. That would be November 20th. w0rdie is a reliable source he has proven that with calling the release date of the diamond and we have confirmation that Alltel was shooting for the 13th but got delayed. I am going to plan on this day to get my phone!!!!! I have a good feeling about this one folks. =D>

Ohh man... I really want this phone!!!
I wonder if/when alltel will post an ad on their site.
I dont know if you guys can help me out, but Im wondering how the preoder option works on the alltel site. I know they had this for the diamond 1 week before its release. Im willing to do this if it helps me get a TP for sure. Although Im not sure how I will receive the phone, will it be shipped to me? or can I pick it up at an alltel store? I just don't know X( Maybe I shouldn't even worry about them running out of phones on its release date, or should I?

According to the sales people at the Alltel store the online shop is actually a 3rd party authorized agent. If you purchase online your phone will more than likely not come from alltel. I would recommend doing what I did. The sales people at Alltel work on commission. Go to the store and leave your name and number with one and tell them to call when they have a confirmed release date and when the phone actually arrives. It's an easy buck for them and saves you allot of time. Considering the price point of this phone I don't see them selling out too fast.
