S2U2 with S2P

I have been messing around with the integration of S2U2 along with S2P and noticed that if I hit my power button to "lock" the device, whatever music I have playing will stop. However, if I press the power button once more to bring up the S2U2 screen which has the audio controls on it the music starts up again. It appears that whether I let the phone timeout while unlocked or timeout while under S2U2 that the music will continue to play, so there just seems to be an issue with pressing the power button to lock. Has anyone else noticed this problem? If so, is there some setting that I am missing or some reg. edit I could use to allow these two problems to interface properly? Thanks!
