S2U2 with S2P

I have been messing around with the integration of S2U2 along with S2P and noticed that if I hit my power button to "lock" the device, whatever music I have playing will stop. However, if I press the power button once more to bring up the S2U2 screen which has the audio controls on it the music starts up again. It appears that whether I let the phone timeout while unlocked or timeout while under S2U2 that the music will continue to play, so there just seems to be an issue with pressing the power button to lock. Has anyone else noticed this problem? If so, is there some setting that I am missing or some reg. edit I could use to allow these two problems to interface properly? Thanks!

Also, I have noticed that everytime that I try to close the program I get a windows error. Any word on a fix for this?

Make sure you set it to RawBuffer for the Display Mode instead of DirectDraw. Other than that, I've not had any specific issues on the Touch Pro with the latest VGA releases.

Are there settings for S2P? I only know about the S2U2 settings. In that program I do have the DirectDraw turned off. So if you are listening to some music via S2P and press the power button to lock the phone, the music does not stop playing? Also, you aren't getting any error messages when you attempt to close down S2P? Thanks for your help!

i just now dled s2p version 4.0 and it worked perfect with power off. is that what your trying to do?

I have 55 as well. The issue is when I press the power putton on my phone to lock the device. If I do that, then the music that is running in S2P stops playing. However, if I manually run S2U2 or let the screen time-out, then the music keeps playing no problem. Also, as I said before, whenever I close down S2P I get a weird error message. Could the two be related, or is there some setting I have to enable such that pressing the power key doesn't pause the music?

mine works, plus i dont use it much niw that i use mortplayer. its vga and has an alarm on it. ill post a screenshot. give me a minute. p.s hi, havent talked to you in a while.

Does the mortplayer sync with itunes? I have been trying to find one that syncs well but haven't so far. It looks like others posted about the power button issue on the xda thread but I haven't seen any resolutions =/

got a little busy with work. I love the fact that it starts when i turn on my s9 and shuts down when I shut the s9 off! bomb ***, and the cover flow is just pimp. love to show that one off.

Now back on topic.... Sounds like it might be a regedit, which i have no clue, but how about this. Manually lock it, then press the power button. what happens then? and what is the error?
