Re: Data Connection Help
So i'm assuming these values are specific to your own phone number, or carrier? I don't have an extra phone laying around at work to get the info from...but my buddy here has a T-Mobile Wing, will that work?

Re: Data Connection Help
Thanks leetsauce! The support had already walked me through the manual setup, but left out one crucial step "Active Profile" in ##data# and mine was set to 0 changed it to 1. That enabled internet, after soft reset.
I was told by two different reps, that there is a problem with activation right now when changing phones, and it "might" be fixed this afternoon. |

Re: Data Connection Help
I've done everything as well.. (I swapped my phone last night, my 1st touch pro had no problems w/ data)
I'll either get error code 1012 or get a count down timer that resutls in no update found for my phone. |

Re: Data Connection Help
It's simply .NET 3.5.

If you read the thread, you would see that Sprint data provisioning is down right now, so you won't be able to get anything to work until it is back up.

Re: Data Connection Help
Question: whenever I use the TF3d to look at setting, its the data connection is off. Shouldnt the Data connection always be on in order to receive text, pictures and email?

Was there any information on this? I had the issue were my profile was set to 0, so I updated that. now when I try go get online, it says "there are no data sessions active...." so I go to setting> communications, and the data connection is off. Once switched on, it's fine....but over time if I try to get on again, the data connection is switched back off. shouldn't it stay on always, unless switched? if not, is there a way to keep it on? |
