Been running TomTom 7 since the day i got mine. Didn't need any other 3rd party software or hack to make it work. Chose "other NMEA GPS receiver", set it to COM 4 and that's it. TomTom is the best, been using it since version 5. Signal acquires within a minute, and John Cleese is a hoot.

I go out more often now

I have heard a few people reference the "other NMEA GPS receiver" setting but I can not find it after looking through every TomTom screen/setting as well as the WM settings. Can you help me figure out where this setting is? I am using TomTom 7. TIA!!

You need to purchase and install the maps on a microSD card.

TomTom 7 works prefectly on the Sprint Touch Pro as well as the Sprint Diamond.

No priming is needed with either one. GPS by default should be configured properly and no setting are needed.

You will need to turn your location on for it to work. Start settings phone services Location settings. Get Settings button check ON.
