Yes, all USB chargers work the same. Use the search feature, similar questions regarding charger compatability have been posted many times.

Re: Battery & charger compatibility?
Don't disguise the issue though.
Regardless of phone make/model aside from the battery type being lipo/lion vs nicad (all modern phones are li-po [Lithium-polymer]) All mini USB chargers will work the same across phones, the cheapo $7 motorola charger will work just as well as the $35 HTC Pro charger. (Unless there is a difference in the amount of amps it pushes, slower charge vs faster charge) Probably don't want to exceed 1.5A (1500MA) |

Re: Battery & charger compatibility?
when i browse using opera9 with wifi turned on and brightness at 40%, my mogul charger cant seem to sustain a charging state. im think all 5v mini usb chargers are all compatible but htc shouldve raised the charger to 5.5v for touch pro

Re: Battery & charger compatibility?
Voltage is not the issue, increasing voltage WILL damage your battery. It's the amperage that would need the boost. Like at home, I have my HTC stock charger. Those push out 1000 milliamperes or ma ( 1 Amp ) At work I have an old motorola charger that pushes out 600ma. At work surfing the web with 1xRTT (no Ev-do here yet
![]() At home with the HTC charger running on wifi I don't seem to loose battery, I have not checked to see how much amperage it is eating up with wifi. Wifi chews through batteries like crazy. |
