Stay Unlock does work. Remember to soft reset after installing. then go into settings to make lock changes if you've already setup your exchange account. If not set up as normal. But I too am in agreement with being cautious in regard to bypassing exchange security policies.

Re: Simple Pin required for exchange server email

Exchange 2007 has great tools built in for Windows Mobile. We just upgraded from Exchange 2003 to exchange 2007 and one of the exchange admins did not have to force on the password policy. You can remove the sync relationship and then it will also delete anything you have synced with the exchange server. All without having the phone in hand.

It only takes a couple clicks too in Exchange 2003/2007, and for that matter... the IT admin could be pretty nasty and have the entire device wiped clean (hard reset). In fact, I had to do it twice at my last job to former employees when they were fired.
This.

Also, government IT admin here. Security is more serious than ever. God help any user I catch who bypasses or modifies security policies.

I work in healthcare and I keep saying this too.. We had to build a group policy and a mandatory profile that gives him the basics.

When you're tasked with ensuring HIPAA compliance, nothing wrong with putting a head or two on stakes outside the IT office.

A sign with the deceased's security violation is optional but highly reccomended.
