hack to speed up tp?

is there a hack to speed up the tp? i remember seeing something about changing memory setings but can't find that page.

the pagepool change was a placebo from what I have read.

You can use a hex edit to change the pagepool, it is a little more involved than using the pagepool changer. Also bumpin up the glyph cache, file system cache, and file system filter cache can speed up performance by a good margin.

i have memmaid and there is a setting to optimize ,speed,memory,extreme speed and extreme memory. it changes the cache size,reader buffer and max connects. i am not sure if i want the extreme speed setting because i am not sure if it will kill my battery. anyone else try these settings for TP speed up?
