Re: Fring Works

I think the user is inconsistent. I had no problem installing this crapware, and removing it was just as easy.

Well, I just have the stock Sprint TP ROM, with only a few 3rd party applications installed, but none running at this time. The application still won't start. I've tried soft-resetting, re-installing, but nothing works.

From the sounds of it, I wouldn't like it anyways, but I still would like for it to install. Oh well.

Re: Fring Works

I run stock rom as well, I have several applications I have installed and use frequently. I think you probably downloaded the wrong version or something.

Re: Fring Works

Well, maybe Opera downloaded a corrupt copy, (that somehow actually installed.)

I've never had a corrupted version PARTIALLY work, but hell, anything can happen in the PPC world.

Re: Fring Works

Skype works on the TP, so you might as well use that instead.

Re: Fring Works

go to www.fring.com/cab on the touch pro... I just installed it, and if I do menu/enable earpiece it works via the ear piece. Looks not half bad, esp. if they get last.fm plugin up for winmo. Test call sounded OK too.
