i am glad its not just me. and cool i found a bug.

but it is a pain when going through my contacts, i wonder if any other contacts do it.

its worse than i thought , if you do it and its almost every 2 letters you have contacts in it dials the number so it is worse than i thought.

did it in ar, ac , mr , lr , br

if you go into your contacts press the r key and it will dial

so its either the touch screen or software

Did a hard reset and when I press 'K' 'R' it did not dial anymore. The bad news is now it dials with 'C' 'R'.

it seems to be the letter r, i did a search with just the letter r and it dialed right away

That would make sense because my family name starts with "r" and when I add them in to my speed dial, that's when the speed dial takes over. :)

I have the same glitch too. It dials for ar, mr, lr, but not ac. Hopefully HTC fixes this issue. Although I don't really use the on-screen keyboard, it's kine da annoying. I dont' have this problem with the hard keys.

hmm... i tried it and it didnt doit, then i kept trying and it dialed once. now i cant reproduce the problem anymore.... wierd... o wels. i dont use the on screen keyboard anyways.
