My buttons and keyboard aren't working
I have been searching, but no luck...
some time today my keyboard and buttons stopped working. My on/off button still works, my 'home' button works, and if I hold the end call button, it'll give me the 'airplane mode, etc.' menu, but that's it. If I slide out the keyboard, the phone will wake up, but I cannot type. If I have the OSK up, and tap a key on the keyboard the OSK disappears. If I hit the fn button, or shift, the little indicators light up, so I know it sees me typing..... Any ideas? I figure I have locked it and don't know how..... Thanx, Ron

I would say it sounds like some kind of hardware failure and its time to contact sprint.

would suck if its hardware related.
are you able to get buttons to work to attempt a hard reset?

It will allow me to do a hard reset, but I don't want to try until I know there is not a simple answer.
What can I use to back up EVERYTHING on the device? Ron
