Re: Tv-out Cables in store?
It should be noted that you lose the ability to use your dongle for all the original intended purposes when you cut the blue wire... you can no longer use your headphones and can not talk with it.
Also not all ipod cables are a perfect match for the wires. I bought some for $1 but shipping was $10...lol. Also, be VERY careful opening it and glueing it back together, I bent it a bit too much opening it and it also cracked the front interior piece off. Not a big deal, but the glue did run down the side a bit and looked bad enough for me not to want to really show it to anyone...lol. I resold my by rca cables and just went with someone elses already made version on ebay, which I use everyday in the office and have two bigscreen tv's hooked up to it to show QC stuff and business goals etc. Luckily this adapter can also allow talking etc and thus take the place of the one that was shipped with the phone (which I had botched enough to not want to use it in front of anyone..lol). I paid about $40something for the new one, but it is indeed all-around better than the one I made or the one my friend had purchased from over-seas. I've seen at least one person win it on an auction for $15 shipped.

What's in a name? That which we call a genius by any other name would be just as smart. I beat up Sprint and all I have to show for it is this lousy When you were in diapers and wetting the sheets I was out hacking with the ppcgeeks. |
