Phone prices and deals

Hey guys,

I have a 2 year contract that's up in June of 2009 which means i'm only eligible for a $75 discount on the TP. The retention rep has offered $150 but that still means i'm paying ~$440 to upgrade my mogul.

I explained that the mogul was a POS and has given me problems for over a year now but they wouldn't budge.

I'm on a $60 1000/min F&F plan with 6pm N&W and PV included. It's not SERO but it's close.

How much are you guys paying for the TP? All i've heard are guys buying it for $300 and less. I'd rather not drop 4 bills on a phone if i dont have to...

Update:

Ok i finally got a guy on the line from retentions who was able to put something together. I explained that my mogul was freezing up on a daily basis and that it would be cheaper to cancel my service, pay the early termination fee, and get the g1 googlephone than to pay the price sprint is asking for the TP.

He offered to get me the phone for $330 after $100 rebate with another $50 if i wanted to trade in my mogul. I figure i'd rather ebay it for $150ish which will put the total upgrade cost to around $180.

Not amazing, but not too shabby either. Certainly better than paying $450-500 which is what they originally wanted.
