Well, as promissed by Sprint, my second TP was overnighted and arrived today.
Opened the box, took the phone out......
....before anything else I pulled out the stylus and FLOOOOOP, there comes the switch.
What a ****ty design.

I'm going back to Treo, trying the 800 this time. Not gonna keep

over this!

Thank you, mine indeed was broken within two days of purchase. Best Buy replaced it no question BUT I wrote a thread on a BEWARE issue.

I went to Sprint first and at least the rep I spoke with said no problem on the replacement if they would have had one in stock. They just got theirs the day before and were out from people on a wait list.

wow...... my diamond still works but I didnt know there was that lil switch in there I thought it had to do something with the magnet

Mine broke tonight.......Not good.

I am thinking about signing up for the $7 TEP, as I have a feeling this will happen again, and I got my phone from BB.

Mine never worked out of the box, my switch is intact but my reset button also does not work.

So I am assuming there is a trace not soldered or a crack in the board.

Not having the reset is a PITA.

I would be upset if I actually paid for this unit... I still think my original touch is better built, and a better feel all around.

mine works grrrrrreat
are some of the six who have broken ones being forceful with it? the magnet sucks it right up so theres no need to jam it up like with other phones. people need to remember anything tiny and expensive is delicate
