Mine broke... I've had the phone since 11/15. As someone who doesn't use the stylus much, I'm pretty surprised. I'm also very ginger with this phone (due to the cost) so I don't think you could put me in the "Broke It Due To Excessive Force" category.
Looking at the pieces and the mechanism with a magnifying glass, it's clear this is just incredibly poor design on the part of HTC. I'd wager that after a year's use, a majority of users will have a broken sensor. And there really seems to be no sense in getting a new TP; it'll just break again.
It's a shame, because other then this switch problem, I love my TP.
