Re: TUrning off the Alarm
Check the top of the screen (by the start and battery indicator) and see if an alarm icon is there. If it is hit it, then the enlarged menu will come up and hit the alarm again. This will bring up the "menu" that used to come up with alarms in previous phones to dismiss or snooze the alarm. To make this message show up by default go to sound & notification settings. For event select reminders then check display message on screen. Don't worry you weren't the only one to ask WT... when it went off.

Re: TUrning off the Alarm
I do have the notifications checked, and nothing is coming up when the alarm goes off. When I hit the alarm icon at the top of the screen, there is no pop up to dismiss or snooze. The only thing I can access is by going to the alarm/clock settings and unchecking the alarm box - although even this doesn't turn it off right away.

Re: TUrning off the Alarm
I have a diamond, but I've been having the same problem. Even when I soft reset it, it comes back on a few mins after tf3d is back up.

Re: TUrning off the Alarm
I had the same problem. A hard-reset fixed it. Now when the alarm goes off I get the notification bubble that lets me snooze and dismiss.

Re: TUrning off the Alarm
I think pressing hangup automatically performs a 10 minute snooze.
edit** test it yourself before banking on this and being late for work/school/whatever.
