He mentioned EVP which is an independent affiliate which seems to have direct access to customer account information.

LOL, so I called a Sprint store near my area and asked about the Touch Pro. I don't know if the CSR was lazy or what, but he said they weren't going to release it until the end of November. I'm going to go in there tomorrow afternoon and see whats up. Thanks for the heads up BTW.

My sprint store got 5 yesterday, sold one last night.

Been trying to tell people that the 30th was the soft launch and Nov 2nd was the hard launch. Got an e-mail yesterday that phones were shipped out yesterday and should be arriving yesterday or today.

I called 3 stores around me, and they are all allowing you to purchase the phone today. I just thought I'd let you know.

However, they will not honor deals retentions has set up with you. You must contact them directly to get a discounted phone.

When retentions promised me a good deal on the TP, they said I would have to buy it at a Sprint Corporate Store to get it honored. I'm not sure what stores are corporate, but just passing that info.

haha same here, i called a local store to see if they had one in so i could go check it out during lunch even though i ordered one already. The guy sounded like a niave young guy and said dec. 1, i laughed and thanked him for his time.

Sprint shipped mine out yesterday and I noticed they are using 3-5 day ground. When did they stop using overnight?

are you sure it is 3-5 day shipping or is it what they said when you ordered it? I believe they say that just to cover their own *** but mine originally said that one the confirmation and order status but checked my status today with the tracking number and it is out for delivery!

Thanks for posting Saumaun. My name is BJ DeHut and I am a representative for Sprint and we are happy that you are excited about your new HTC Touch Pro. The major release for this phone is still November 2nd, but it is nice to know that there is such a demand for the phone that some stores had to release it early.
