I had pre-ordered my Touch Pro through EVP last week. Then on Monday I managed to crack the screen on my 6700. So I filed a claim with insurance, and I got a 6800 as replacement last night.

While driving back home back to play with the 6800 I got an email on my work Blackberry from EVP. He said the that my Touch Pro had shipped. I emailed him back to see when I would get it. He said since I requested an expedited order, I would have it next day.

According to UPS its already out for delivery and should be at my door today.

So I will have had my 6800 for all of a day. But I can't wait to get my hands on my new-new toy.

What time did you order yesterday? They apparently didn't ship mine. I ordered about 9:00am PT and I'm in the central valley.

I received an email from someone who handled my account through EVP and it stated that my order has been shipped. Im so hot for this phone right now. This better be a treat and not a trick.

As mentioned in the beginning of this thread, if you have received your phone. Please provide tracking informatioin. Executive Services has advised that orders have been taken but, your phones were not shipped last night? Until someone posts a tracking number to confirm that you have received your phone, she must be correct? That is based on the information that I've received 20mins ago. You will not see the phone until the earliest Nov. 3rd more than likely Nov. 4th. Can someone prove me wrong by providing a tracking number ? Executive Services is stating firmly that these are pre-orders and did not ship last night ? She also told me that they are gauging demand and supply at this point. Waiting Lists will begin based on the number pre-ordered today?

Yea I should have called earlier. I tried to go through Retentions but they had my account all messed up. Finally got to a retentions manager who fixed the account but claimed the phone was not available. Called telesales and blam, they had it and ordered it. The clueless first retentions rep I spoke with cost me at least an hour on the phone. Bottom line is she cost me the weekend without my new toy! Damn.

FYI - Several people have received their order confirmation and tracking numbers. (UPS/FedEx/USPS/DHL) Almost all, including myself have been tracking thier phones all day. Some have received thiers already while others are waiting for delivery. Fomr the majority, the tracking status has gone to "Out for Delivery".
