Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

lol that is me. I added to a post for this some time ago in hopes I would come back now and see a resolution. I use it a lot for my alarm and hate hitting the top bar half asleep trying to turn it off or snooze it. I hope a fix comes out for this because it is an annoyance.

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

anyone found a fix for this yet? I am having the same issue, with the alarm and the calander notifications, I used to get a popup at the bottom of the screen, but now have to go to the top bar and click on the icon. Any Help?

Don't think so. There are a few threads about this and so far I have not seen a fix.

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

I have the same problem. All I want is the pop-up for appointments/alarms, instead of having to go through tapping the top of the screen, then the bell icon, then dismiss the appointment notification. Annoying.

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

How could it work? TF3d "owns" the bottom soft keys, you'll never be able to use the notification unless you're looking at the device when it goes off (actually, I have seen the notification window thing pop up briefly a few times when I happen to be there for an event.... and the soft button label changes.... and then changes back to the TF3d one.)

Looks like maybe the only option is to not use TF3d.

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

I use SPB Time for alarms & that always gives a big (finger friendly) beautiful pop-up screen with dismiss/sleep etc options on it.

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

G-alarm has fixed this dissappearing WM notifications for me. Just install g-alarm, it will ask if you want to apply the WM notification fix, say yes and reboot.

Just to be clear, you don't have to use g-alarm for your alarms (I don't)... but they seemed to have found a patch that fixes these dissappearing notifications.

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

I just installed G-alarm for the sole purpose of seeing if it would allow pop-up notifications...although it did tell me my Touch Pro was subject to having the notification bug, and although I clicked 'fix it', after it reset I still have to click the bell and click the bell again to see what I'm being notified of.

Are the people in this thread talking about different problems, maybe? Or did I miss a step?

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

Nope, that's the problem I was having... the little notification dialog at the bottom never showed up (calendar remindes, alarm notifications, etc.) and I had to hit the annoyingly small top taskbar to bring up the notification dialog.

Sorry, the g-alarm fix didn't work for you... on my stock sprint TP it fixed my notifications... it's been working for over a month and prior to the fix I couldn't go more than 2 days before it stopped working.
