Anyone have Softmaker Office 2008 working with Touch Pro?

Installs fine, but throws an error when trying to run. Also doesn't show up in the "remove programs" list. Anyone successfully running this?

Don't know about the error. I haven't installed it yet, but it won't show up in remove programs list because it has a special installer that also does the uninstall.

What error?

It's a windows exception. When you click "send" or "don't send" the error report, you briefly see the initial config screen for Softmaker where you enter your personal info. Then the error pops back up, and you can't get it to go away no matter how many times you hit send or don't send. I can shut down TextMaker/PlanMaker with the task manager, but the error message continues. You can still do anything you want with the device, but the error message remains as a task in the background, no matter how many times you close it. Only way to get rid of it is a soft reset.

Have you sent them an email yet? They are usually good about fixing issues like this.

have you tried turning off error reporting?

Yes, I sent them an email right away. I'd like to get it working, since neither Office Mobile nor Documents To Go will let me open/save office files across my network. I can use file manager to browse to my network share and open files, but the programs can't navigate back to save changes. I have an older version of Softmaker on my LOOX 720 and never had a problem with it.
