Weather App Frozen

Hey, sorry if this was answered before, I did read about the weather update issues, but this is a little different. I am able to get to the weather fine, but I am unable to scroll through my cities using the finger swipe and when I tell it to update it says updating forever. I know a soft reset will fix this (have done it twice) but wondering if there were any other fixes...it is a bit annoying to have to soft reset every time weather goes down.
