Turn off autofocus

Does anyone know how to disable the autofocus on the camera? i like it, but it just takes too long to take a picture...

Subscribing. I'd like to know how to do this, and maybe make the camera more responsive. I adjusted the frame rate, but not much improvement

to turn off autofocus... in camera mode go into camera settings and go to advanced setting and turn off shutter sound... or alternatively put the phone into silent mode. doing this will turn autofocus off.

Turning off the shutter sound does not disable auto focus!

on guy gives a fix, one guy uses fix and says it works. next guy says it dont work? hmmmmmm, where we at? Lol
