Anyone know if theres an alternative backplate available?

The faceted backplate is the only thing I don't like on the touch pro. In fact - I hate it.
Designwise its just.. well, horrid to be honest.

So does anyone know of a different looking backplate/cover?

I'm assuming your talking about the CDMA version of the TP. If so then YES, this extendeded battery http://www.seidioonline.com/ProductD...de=BASI15HTCX1 is indeed for the Sprint TP.

It really irks me that seido already has Blackberry Storm accessories when they've been advertising Touch Pro accessories "coming soon" for weeks now.

I know, seriously... They've said, "end of November or sooner" and here we are on the 30th and no sign of it. I still need to get a cradle, and I'm hoping for at least a 2500mah battery to complement my 1500mah and 1340mah (moved to backup status).

Seidio is the only group I have had consistent results though in terms of actual compatibility though, so I'm waiting on them. Expansys was posted earlier on but I've found them pretty unresponsive and inconsistent in identifying truly compatible parts.
