I just got my Seidio 1500mah battery this afternoon... haven't really had a full day to test it, but at least it really is compatible! I definitely recommend that anyone interested buy one to replace their stock battery (keep that one as a backup).

Nice. Fitment is no problem?

-EDIT- I only would hesitate because CriticalAudio was talking about a 1800 MAH and one bigger one being developed (this was prior to release of the phone).

i can't see how they can cram 1800 mAh in there. The stock battery is already really tight.

Goodthings, can you please open the keyboard and shake the phone a little to see if the phone doesn't turn off. I had a fitment problem with a seidio battery on my Mogul. The phone would turn off if I slid open the keyboard real fast.

It's exact same size and surprisingly it's black. Still sitting in the charger for initial charging. Will know in a few days how it performs.

Charges as fast as your OEM charger. Power pack itself takes a long time to charge. Maybe over 2-4 hours.

I charged it from 10% to 100% (I can't tell you how long, fell asleep on the plane, 9 hour flight) and it still had 2 led lit on the power pack. I'm guessing you can get a minimum for 2 full charges or extend your voice/play time to another 4-6 hours.

I think a better option is the APC Mobile Power Pack if it's still available. I bought one last year. It has over twice the power for charging other USB items. I paid $45 - and I've used it to charge my 6700, and my Archos 504 PMP.

yah but it doesn't fit in the phone. It's a different option. I'd prefer a battery I could just swap in. I couldn't put that power pack in my pocket...

I wasn't responding to your comment - I was responding to Wrecks whom I quoted. He paid $55 for an external battery that's less than half the capacity of the APC mobile power pack.
