thanks for the info. Im gonna by an extended battery. I work for a sprint agent and we can get one for 27 dollars. I think im still gonna get the dock though.

I honestly don't know how the case could "pull the phone apart." If anything, it may cause some "slight rubbing" on the parts in between, but not pull apart.

Dropping the phone with the slide open though might do the job.

I've had the IC on both my phones for a while now and nothing bad.

Well, no one responded so I ordered this. Paid $4.95 + 1.68 shipping and it came quickly but these shields are JUNK! They are basically just like the protectors that come with all phones, you know, the kind you remove right away and throw in the garbage. They stick on by virtue of static electricity so they pick up so much dust from the environment while you are attaching them that it is impossible not to get specs under them. Besides, you can't really use a stylus on them as they slip, slide & tear quite easily. I highly advise AGAINST buying these.

I actually bought this armband below but it didn't wrap around my arm, (GUNS!!) hehe.. I forgot to follow up post on that, but I went to officemax and bought the extrememac sportwrap model #IPP-SP3-00, yesterday, and reminded me. It wraps perfect around my arm and the phone fits even with the protective case w/o a problem + I can control it without a hitch. Forget about the cellet one it fits too tight on the phone & the pocket + window isn't big nor tall enough without having a scare the phone will slip out, and forget about having any control.

Oh and if you think its "cheap" to use your phone as an Ipod, I had a creative vision before ipod even dreamed of having a pmp, but when I broke it, I noticed with my phone + sat radio online + extra battery + sdhd chip + bt headphones, its a marginal improvement. With the motorola sd-hd headphones I picked up a call by pressing a button and went back to my music while I was jogging instead of having to deal with 2 devices, like a fool. As far as video media, I don't even bother with the small window, it sucks. Not to mention for the same reasons I hardly ever watched video on my creative vision more then a couple of times. If anything I use my umpc that has a 8" touchscreen for any portable watching.

Hope this helps anyone going through the same motions.

it should work vick, because sprint and verizon both are the cdma version (i don't think the gsm varies that much either from cdma). It's just the cradle so you should be good.

the reason i ask is because, when i got my first TP i found that the Mini USB that came with my Blackberry and External pocket hard drive worked with the TP, so i was wow, dont have to carry another cable
but, 5 days into it, i found a screen leak on the LCD. so got a replacement, so not sure if it was the BB charging cable or just a bad LCD
thats why wanted to be sure
