How do I keep my Sprint connection when I activesync?

When I plug my phone into my computer at work and activesync it automatically connects to my jobs proxy server which won't let me access anything without the correct settings. How do I keep it on the sprint connection when I activesync? I used to be able to go into the connection settings and change it on my Mogul but with the Touch Pro it always goes right back to the proxy settings.

go to active ssynt options on your phone when sync'd to cpu and allow internet connetion during sync...i think thats what you are talking about otherwise when you initially set up activesync it will ask do you want to allow connection during sync...make sure that is checked...hope i helped

The new activesync does not allow connection while connected even with that option BUT there is a registry entry that will allow it to work again, unfortunately, I cannot access the information from work but if you do a google search or head over to XDA, they both have the answer you are looking for.
