How do I keep my Sprint connection when I activesync?

When I plug my phone into my computer at work and activesync it automatically connects to my jobs proxy server which won't let me access anything without the correct settings. How do I keep it on the sprint connection when I activesync? I used to be able to go into the connection settings and change it on my Mogul but with the Touch Pro it always goes right back to the proxy settings.
