battery charges and stops

i've been noticing that while i'm on the phone and have the charger plugged in that the phone charges then stops as if the cable isn't plugged in anymore then continues on again if i reseat the cable. anyone else has this problem?

my alltel pro does the same thing ,no idea what might be causing this but have you seen the current draw while youre on the phone ....mine is about 400maH
