Touch Pro Build Date

10/15, bought it at the sprint store on 11/1 -- i just got a return kit to reserve a replacement -- i am going to visit the store to do a swap (put in a ticket within my 30 days)

i've been happy with the phone software-wise, but the build quality (call speaker / speakerphone / screen wiggle)

I just got one in the mail today. Build date is 11/18/08.

Just got mine today as well ordered it on 11-17-08 and my Build Date is 11-18-08 as well. wow it was built the day after I ordered. I am also quite happy with this device, it is as fast as my Treo 800w, kinda like hte best of both worlds.

My touch pro is a 10/28/08 mfg date

I have the raised home key which has been driving me crazy. At first I thought I was picky, but now I can see other people have been annoyed by it. I thought the speaker sounded a little blown when I had the volume up at 80%, but I wasn't sure. I got this at another sprint store (out of the area). The sprint store in my town has been out for 2 weeks. How do I get this returned if they are out? I don't want the 30 days to go by... Can I ask that they put me on a list for when the Touch Pros come in?

So I read thru most of this thread, seems the consensus is if you have a newer build those phones seem to be better built. Everybody who has changed there phone from the old build have been pretty happy with their exchanges, does this seem to be true? Mine shows october, i can easily get it changed just wondering if I should. I am having some problems but they are minor, if that build is truely better I think I'm going to change it out.

My store ran out of the touch pro's and I want to exchange mine. How can I make sure that I'm able to exchange mine before my 30 days is up if they don't have any in stock?

I got my phone at a corporate sprint store.

If the issues are minor enough that they don't bother you, there's no need to risk it. If they drift into your thoughts while you're using the phone, get an exchange when they're in stock.
