Re: Sprint vs VZW
Verizon is full of crap. The Touch Pro is a dual band (850/1900) CDMA phone. It works fine on either network.
The question is whether or not they're going to allow the foreign ESN.

Re: Sprint vs VZW
I'm using a sprint phone on alltel. The hardest part is getting them to add the sprint esn to their database. I have heard that verizon is getting better at doing this.

Re: Sprint vs VZW
I think you should make up a story, how that phone you have is highly customized for your needs at your job or whatever, and that you can't change phones.
I'm sure they will take the sprint phone, as long as you have money. Money talks to them, if it says jump, verizon asks how high. :P |

Re: Sprint vs VZW
What I am trying to ascertain is if VZW is full of crap in their statement to me that because they operate at 1900 that they cannot accept a Sprint phone into their network.

Re: Sprint vs VZW
I just responded to VZW letting them know that I dont accept the response. Since Sprint also operates that 1900/850 then they should be able to accept the Sprint phone. If it is a question of "certifying" the device to operate on the VZW network then I want to know how I go about applying for certification.
Stay tuned. I will update this thread with more info once it becomes available. Steve |
